TAX
DISPUTES
We support companies, associations, and private individuals in tax disputes with our professional expertise and many years of experience in German and international tax law.
We also support tax advisors in tax disputes
- during tax audits,
- in appeal proceedings,
- at meetings with the tax office,
- in lawsuits before the tax court, and in appeals or complaints of non-admission to the Federal Fiscal Court – we are your reliable partner.
TAX
AUDITS
Tax audits conducted by the tax office usually lead to the initiation of criminal tax proceedings, and in cases of suspected undeclared wage payments or wage splitting, they also lead to the involvement of the Customs Office's Financial Control Unit for Illegal Employment (FKS). For this reason, in addition to the support of a tax advisor, it is also advisable to seek the advice of a specialist tax lawyer during a tax audit.
Cases involving requirements for proper cash management, the use of electronic cash registers, or the keeping of an open cash register are particularly consultation-intensive. Through continuous training, lectures, and scientific publications in this area, we ensure successful consultation based on the current legal situation and case law.
We advise you in connection with
- Preparation for the audit
- Audit procedure and company inspection
- Obligations to cooperate
- Post-calculation
- Cash flow calculation
- Estimation authority and additional estimates
- Cash register audit
- Profit calculation
- Final meeting
- Evaluation of the tax audit report
- Information on search measures by the tax investigation department
VOLUNTARY
DISCLOSURE
We advise you in cases of corrections to tax returns that have already been submitted or supplementary declarations of previously undeclared circumstances.
From reviewing the facts to submitting a voluntary disclosure, we take care of everything with the aim of avoiding penalties—also providing support alongside your current tax advisor—and offer you:
- Advice on voluntary disclosures that exempt you from penalties and fines (e.g., capital gains, rental income, gifts, income tax, sales tax)
- Review of grounds for exclusion, prosecutability, and timeliness of the voluntary disclosure
- Formulation of the voluntary disclosure
- Representation before the tax office, fines and criminal proceedings office, public prosecutor's office, and court
